I’m Mandy and this is my blog.

I live with my boyfriend Jeff in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which works out well for both of us because we’re in love.

We own a little condo on the river that most days I think is much too small for our own good. But it is gorgeous, and it’s ours. We have colored walls – a dark cinnamon kitchen and an oatmeal colored bathroom – and the fact that I don’t live in an all white home makes me feel grown.

Jeff and I have a loyal little beagle. He’s our pride and joy and we let him sleep in our bed. We love him more than anything in this big world. And he loves us back, which could have something to do with all the sharing of food that goes on in our house.

Things that make me happy: chapstick, new underwear, 90210 reruns, Target, flip flops, inside jokes that I’m a part of, good tasting beer, checking my e-mail, Facebook and updating my Twitter status (@MWgirl), cooking, having people over, drinks with girlfriends, being outside, The Hills and other assorted bad reality TV, coffee in the morning from Starbucks, pet shops and the dog park.

Not so much: brown alcohol, when my shampoo and conditioner aren’t the same brand, people who don’t know how to be compassionate, heights, when people fart and don’t admit it, liars, cheaters, dog haters, mayonnaise, ketchup, a dirty kitchen, when Jeff doesn’t put his clothes in the laundry basket and people who think they know something about everything.
